do you do 24 miles northwest of downtown Houston along U.S. Highway 290 sits an unincorporated community called Cyprus.

Once a rural area, large-scale residential and commercial development, starting in the 1980s, transformed Cyprus into one of Houston's

largest and highest income suburban communities.

As the area grew and the demand for housing rows, home builders kept pace by developing

master-planned communities. One of those communities is called Coals Crossing. It prides itself as a

premier community due to offerings of amenities, schools, shopping, and green spaces.

Established in 1998,

Kohl's Crossing today has about 2,600 homes,

ranging in price from $250,000 up to as high as $900,000.

Residents described the neighborhood as safe, peaceful, and pristine.

Within the community on Foster's Creek Drive sits a two-story single-family brick home.

The lawn is mowed regularly by the Homeowners Association. The
