we both started off with the list of stuff. We've looked at it,

but we're going to expand on what we got here. So I'll let you begin of one of the big

trends that you have seen as an evolution of the game here in the 24-25 season.

I think we should just start with one that we both have on our list so that we can

both, you know, knock one out of the park real quick, which is that teams are pressuring the

ball and trying to force turnovers seemingly more than ever. I wrote early in the season about

like the possession battle and how teams were trying to force more turnovers and some teams were

trying to force or trying to grab more offensive rebounds. But the pickup point of like where opposing defenses pick up

the offense is something that I had been trying to track for like a really, really long time.

I was in conversations with Second Spectrum for like almost a full decade about trying to get

them to put that data in their data set. They finally put it in

a couple of years ago, and I've been tracking it pretty closely ever since. And this year,

the pickup point for half court possessions is at 42 feet, which is like, what's that five feet

past the half court line? That is three feet farther than the previous farthest season, which was around 39 feet. And when you go back to

the beginning of the tracking era, it's up about six feet. And that obviously dovetails with a lot of

different trends throughout the league. But ball pressure, picking up guys, you know, whether it's deep

in the back court or just higher up in the front court, that's something that we've definitely
