Today we entertain the topic of a wizard and a king.

The wizard is none other than the most celebrated writer in the history of comic books,

Alan Moore. The king is Jack Kirby, the most celebrated writer in the history of comic books, Alan Moore.

The King is Jack Kirby, the most accomplished creator in all of comics.

Alan and Jack had one memorable encounter, which we revisit, and then much later, Alan, the Wizard,

wrote an entire comic book in tribute to the King.

It's a story that I watched up close and personal.

I watched it come together and I was a participant in its creation as well.
