Well, that does describe it pretty well, but I would definitely add the various humanistic theories and therapies definitely to this.

I don't, I guess, talk about those enough.

They're so effectively integrated into not only the practice of therapy and the philosophy

of therapy, but humanistic theory has

integrated the popular culture to talk about self-esteem and self-actualization and to value

feelings and to believe that people are mostly good and that if you just help people to realize themselves,

then things tend to go well for them.
