Perhaps you've heard the expression that things are not always what they seem. Well, that is

certainly true, but today I want to tell you that things are not always what they seem. Well, that is certainly true, but today I want to tell you that things are not always what you see.

And we have this tendency to get our eyes fixed on people, fixed on things, fixed on circumstances,

fixed on time, and we think that those are the realities.

But I want to remind you that for a child of God, there are spiritual realities that are

greater than the physical ones, that God is always greater than man, and eternity is always

greater than time. Remember, there are two ways to live. You're either going to live by sight

or you're going to live by faith. What is faith? Faith is looking beyond what you can see.

Remember, the substance of things hope for, the evidence of things not seen.

So the faith life looks beyond the immediate, beyond the temporal, beyond yourself and others,

chapter number four, and if you're going to make the most of your life, you've got to learn this
