0:27.0	I'm welcomed through our time here together, turning to the teachings of the Christian mystic Thomas Merton to help us deepen
0:37.4	our experience and response to God's presence in our lives. This session actually is our last session on Thomas
0:49.5	Merton and as I understand it, there's an opportunity now for you to submit questions around these
1:00.3	reflections on Merton.
1:01.5	We've been sharing here together and those my response
1:06.9	to those questions will then be posted you can have availability to have them
1:11.2	have access to those. Our next series of eight sessions or so
1:19.4	will be turning in a very similar way to the teachings of St. Tris of Avalon on the interior castle.
1:27.6	And there'll be a chance to ask questions and we'll go from there next Mr. O'Pabee, St. John of the Cross and so on.
1:36.3	And in this session what I want to do is I'd like to kind of go back and review our explorations of
1:49.2	Thomas Merton by singling out seminal themes or seminal aspects of his teachings.
1:58.0	And I think this is significant because by singling out these themes as we go from one mystic to the next,
2:08.0	we'll see how these same themes are found in all the mystic teachers in the Christian tradition and really
2:16.5	and all and all of the mystic teachers of all the world's great religions
