Shark Week is upon us, and I for one have been dipping my toe in the Shark Week waters and so far have not been disappointed.

Okay, well then, one shark you might recognize is the iconic Frusser Shark.

Oh, absolutely. Their silhouette is something out of prehistory with you know they got the long sharp tails and their grace in the water they're almost ghostly I agree wholeheartedly they are among my favorites and those long with like tails can be as long as their entire bodies and without them

they'd actually probably go hungry. Unlike most sharks that stock and approach their prey head on,

threshers close in on their prey and then they actually thresh them with those tails.

All right, the threshing stuns the prey which allows them to gobble it up.

And that stunning motion is not only pretty unique, it's super effective.

Threshers can attack and consume schooling fish like tuna, mackerel, and squid.
