In 2014, a popular Atlanta DJ was gunned down in his driveway. When the wife of another

DJ was killed months later, some wondered if people were targeting those working in the clubs.

Though the police said that's not what happened here, many still think the cases are related.

Hello and welcome to crime lines. I'm sure some of you are wondering if I'm going to be doing the 12 days of crime lines again this year. And for those new to the show, that is where I release 12 daily episodes. And the answer to that is I'm not really doing it this year. I'll explain more about what's been going on in my life

at the end of the month when I release a year-in-review type episode. That's a little bit more

chit-chatty. And it'll make sense why the 12 daily episodes are just not happening this year.

But there will be extra episodes, bonus episodes, if you will. I'll have about six or so,

and they might not be exactly

daily, but they'll be out when they're done. And so there will be extra content this month,

just not quite so much. But we'll get into all of that later. We still have two regular

full-length episodes left of the year. So let's get into today's case, and we're going to

start with Tiffany Jackson. Tiffany was born in Rochester, New York, two parents, Tommy, and Patricia,

and soon enough, the family was joined by her younger brother Brandon. After high school,

she wanted to attend Clark Atlanta University, which has come up before.

We talked about it in the Chiquita Tate episode, as Chiquita had also gone to school there.

Tiffany had her heart set on moving to Atlanta, so she said goodbye to Snowy Rochester Winters

and settled in very quickly in her new home where she majored in logistics,

materials, and supply chain management. And as Tiffany expected, she absolutely loved Atlanta,

in part because she was a huge music lover. Atlanta is a great place for music. Tiffany was always wanting to go out to dance,

and the Atlanta club scene is perfect for that. While she was out, Tiffany met Andre Pugh,

a DJ who worked under the name DJ Awesome. They dated through most of the time Tiffany was in college, and after she graduated in 2006,
