0:00.0	Hey everyone. This is Dan. I'm solo on the podcast today. Leslie received a call a little over an hour ago that her father passed away this afternoon. And while it wasn't completely unexpected, I don't think anyone anticipated the suddenness that this happened.
0:26.4	So this is going to be a little bit of a shorter episode. This is definitely the most raw
0:31.5	and unscripted episode that I have ever done, and we've been doing this for quite some time.
0:39.6	Leslie, I think, understandably,
0:49.5	wanted me to let everyone know why we were not doing a full episode today, but is not in the right space to be able to come on with me. So all that to say, we think of all of you out there as
0:59.4	honestly a family. And it just wouldn't be right to not share news about the show and about us
1:10.2	and what we're going through. Obviously, it is going to be a
1:14.9	difficult time and it will be a little bit, our schedule may be a little bit off. So all
1:21.2	that is to say over the next couple weeks, we may or may not. We definitely try to post at the same time and at the same frequency on the same
1:31.4	days every single week for both our YouTube videos and the podcast. But hopefully everyone will
1:37.2	understand if we need to make some adjustments to that. So a couple of things. One, I've known Leslielie's dad his name was ken um i have known him since
1:50.0	we have been together so like 24 years and change now since we started dating leslie and i have
1:58.0	been married over 21 years it's's just, wow, quite some time.
2:03.2	He is, was an amazing human, just a great, great person. He served in the Navy. He was actually
2:11.0	a Navy SEAL in World War II. Just an incredible person. We've worked together in the past.
2:16.7	We have obviously been a part of just an incredible family in We've worked together in the past. We have obviously been a part of
2:19.5	just an incredible family in the past, a very supportive family. So he will definitely be missed.
2:25.3	I think the other message that I would love to to share, and I think one that Leslie echoes is
2:32.3	time is precious, and you never really know when the last
2:40.6	time you will get to be able to make memories with your loved ones is and I think in in everything
2:48.4	we do this is something that we've learned over time, honestly.
2:52.7	Like, it is just so many things in day-to-day life just get in the way and create this noise.
