And today we toast Seattle Radio Legend on Bob Rivers.

Now, sadly, hopefully you've heard by now, if you have not.

Bob passed away at the age of 68 earlier today.

He'd been suffering from terminal esophageal cancer.

Now, a lot of you remember him when he first arrived in Seattle in 1989 on these very KISW airw

waves.

We did his morning show for 11 years.

And then from there, he went to KZOK before finishing his Seattle radio days at KJR.

Now, oddly enough, before his 22-year run here in the Emerald City, I got to enjoy Bob in my hometown of Baltimore, where he also did mornings there.

Now, we're not trying to follow in his footsteps, but apparently that is exactly what we have done, whether we meant to or not.

Keep in mind tomorrow on the Daily MIG show, they're going to have a full tribute to Bob Rivers

with a lot of his former co-workers, a lot of people that just worked with them and or knew him.
