0:26.1

curated lists just like this one. And this is exciting just because 2024 will undeniably

0:33.5

go down in the history books as one of the most eventful years in hip hop. So the albums that are

0:38.5

coming out truly do matter because they're always going to be connected and associated to this

0:43.0

groundbreaking year. And to be honest with you, I feel like when it comes to my list right now,

0:50.0

I think it's going to change by the time of 2024 is over because there's still a lot of anticipated

0:54.9

albums that are yet to drop. Absolutely. So how did you feel about your list in the sense of like

1:00.0

did you feel like there was too much you wanted to fit in? Did you feel like you were digging for some

1:04.2

albums to bring in? What was the vibe? I was digging around maybe the 9 to 10. I think I had my

1:09.4

albums that I had in stone that I really enjoyed,

1:12.9

but regardless though, I do feel like I did a good job just with my curation, because when I was

1:19.0

1:24.6

and there was quality material from the underground. So I had to take

1:28.1

both into account. Not only that, but I feel like there was certain albums that strived in certain

1:34.8

subgenres. So for example, like I have certain albums in here that maybe do a bit better in

1:39.8

psychedelic G-Funk and I have some trap albums in here. You know, so it's very diverse, at least for this year, because I went back to my

1:46.2

2023 list just to do a bit of homework.

1:48.2

And I was telling myself, this year's definitely stronger.

1:52.2

Like up to this point, it's no debate that it's much stronger of a year when you look at

1:56.6

even the underground.
