So, guys, Derek, more plates, more dates.com. Today I want to talk about estrogen cream.

You know, I've been asked a few times about Derek, what do you think about topical estrogen

cream, biestro cream in particular too, because that's the over-the-counter available one.

Estro gel, the pharma grade one, which I've also used. I don't think there's any kind of benefit

to using it topically.

And when I've checked my blood work on it,

it has very poor systemic absorption if your goal is to try and have,

you know, a physiological amount of estrogen fulfilled via transdermal,

you know,

administration of estradiol cream.

The absorption for the scalp is extremely poor.

And even when I had like several milligrams of estradiol cream on my head per day, my E2 levels were low.

So I don't think it's good in terms of like a topical localized effect.

I noticed no additional growth out of it.

I felt it was, you know, an overhyped growth agonist.

And in most cases,

I've never seen actually anybody get any good results from topical E2 to begin with. I think it's more

about at the end of the day, I think it just comes down to managing your androgen index, your

endrogen load in your body, overall androgenicity relative to systemic estrogen levels. And

your, you know, bioavailable androgens relative to your estrogen.

So I don't think it really has to do with, obviously on paper,

it seems like there's like a potential significant benefit of being able to topically apply,
