prediction I hope does not come true, or at least a proposal that does not come true. The headline of

this week's news story in Landlord Today reads, politicians propose landlords should pay compensation to tenants who are

affected. Rob, I didn't want to go beyond the headline, so I hope you have. Well, luckily,

if you do go a couple of lines beyond the headlines, you will see that this is, I was going to

say only in Wales. That sounds rude. I don't mean only at Wales. I mean, this is a move that's

being suggested just for landlords in Wales by a government committee. And it's basically saying that if a landlord wants to sell their property or move in themselves,

they should give the tenant the last two months of their tenancy for free as compensation.

Wales already, by the way, is the country in the UK where you need to give the most notice to sell a

property the oil renting out. It's six months notice, but apparently
