Welcome back to another edition of ZeroBlog 30. Today we have three rounds of the magazine.

Round number one, a Texas gunman shot and killed eight people on Saturday. He was kicked out of

the army after just three months for mental health-related reasons. Round number two, a marine is looking

at manslaughter charges after a homeless man he put into a chokehold died shortly thereafter.

And round number three, we're going to pick it up again and have some fun with some good initiative.

Bad judgment. Let's get into round number one. This story was tragic, it was horrific, and I'm in

Texas. I'm only a couple hours away from where this happened. And it's happening all too often

across the country, across Texas. So we're going to talk a little bit about this story and some

of the whores that came along with it. Kate, can you walk us through the first part?

Yeah, and I think it's to the point now where you know I put my phone down on the weekends.

I'll open up my Twitter and I feel like every it's like every other weekend now. I start to

scroll Twitter again and I'm like, wait, what's this? What are they talking about? I don't need to take

every other weekend. I think it's like every weekend. It's a mass shooting and it's like holy shit

and this one just absolutely gutting. The man who police say killed eight people and injured seven

others on Saturday in a shooting at an outlet mall in Allen, Texas had entered the army in 2008

but was kicked out three months later. And I want to say right there because people keep

highlighting the fact that he was a soldier in the army. I think this shows that at that moment,

that unit that was involved did the absolute right thing. Like they looked at the mental health

assessment and they're like, no, he's not fit to do it. I think that speaks highly of what was
