Hello and welcome.

My name is Mike and I'm the host and creator of Sword and Scale, Sword and Scale Plus, and

now Sword and Scale Nightmares.

The idea for Nightmares came about because there's an enormous number of stories we simply

can't tell in the existing format of Sword and Scale.

If you're familiar with the original show, we frequently use audio clips.

Starting from interrogation audio to trial testimony to exclusive interviews with those directly

involved.

But every case is different and sometimes those clips are simply not available.

Sometimes they're in a different language or simply don't exist.

But these very real stories are compelling, shocking and nightmare-inducing nonetheless.

At the same time we've heard from a lot of you over the years and many of you listen

to our stories just before going to bed.

So we've been toying around with the idea of creating a new show that serves as bedtime

stories for adults.

And unfortunately, unlike a children's tale, we didn't have to make anything up.

The world is dark and scary enough as it is.

So we hope you'll join us here for the launch of Sword and Scale Nightmares on March 2nd
