We begin this morning with reports of a massive wildfire burning through the Pacific Palisades

neighborhood in western Los Angeles near the Pacific Ocean. Tens of thousands of residents

forced to leave their home stuck in massive traffic jams escaping a fire, whipped up by the notorious Santa Ana winds

with speeds as high as 100 miles per hour. These are the fastest winds ever recorded in

Southern California. Eric Scott of the Los Angeles Fire Department saying a female firefighter

sustained a serious head injury multiple reports of

burn victims needing assistance 200,000 Los Angeles residents are without power this morning

winds are said to be picking up fanning the flames and this thing is far from under control.

The fire was reported at 10 a.m. Pacific time Tuesday morning.

It is now early Wednesday morning.

The fire spread to 3,000 densely populated areas with about 10,000 homes under threat.

There are also fires in the immediate vicinity.

California governor Gavin Newsom declaring a state of emergency, and there are reports that

Kamala Harris's Los Angeles home is in the evacuation zone.
