On this episode, an interview with Doug Axe, director of the Biologic Institute.

He's author of Undeniable, how biology confirms our

intuition that life has designed. And he's here with me today to help me introduce the book to

you. Doug, thanks for joining us today. Thank you for having me. So, Doug, tell us why did you write undeniable?

Well, I wrote it for everyone, for non-scientists and scientists to read. I had spent a little over 25 years in

laboratory doing experimental research with colleagues and I was particularly interested in whether it can invent new molecular things, the protein machines that life needs in order to work.

I and my colleagues all along these 25 years were doing that work of testing and publishing results in peer-reviewed science journals.

But at the end of it, when I had the opportunity to write a book,

I decided I didn't want to simplify scientific technical results for non-technical readers.

Instead, I wanted to build a non-technical argument and write a non-technical book.

So the title of the book is undeniable,

how biology confirms our intuition that life is designed.

I titled that because I start with an intuition,

something that we all have,

something that is not technical, we all get it.

And the book argues that this particular intuition,

the intuition that living things are designed

turns out to be not only correct, but it's scientific in nature.

So a big chunk of the book is arguing that we all do this kind of science, this very simple,

everyday kind of science that I call common science, and that that kind of science confirms the intuition.
