When you do say God said, God told me, there's vanity involved.

That's one of the things that you talked about.

There is vanity built into that because what I'm doing is I'm leveraging that.

I mean, how can you argue with me when God said, God said it. Joining me is a familiar face here at the Roy's report, Lance Ford, who is a church planter and a pastor, but he's also a board member on the Roy's report. And you're

going to see a lot more of him because he's becoming a contributor as we start a new project to

provide more resources to equip the church and also inform and educate. And so just really thrilled

that he can join me today. So Lance, welcome. Just a

pleasure to have you join me. Yeah, it's starting to feel like home. It is, isn't it?

Good to be here. I love that. And the reason I wanted to have you on specifically today is because

of Joni's what's being called her witchcraft prayer or her voodoo prayer. And a lot of people

have talked about this prayer. There's a lot of awful in it. But what I really wanted to do with

you is unpack the theology of this prayer and a lot of the things that are alluded to

because this is not uncommon, even though it's

super, super awful, some of the stuff in here, we see it throughout charismatic circles. And I knew

with your personality, your convictions that you'd probably jump at this opportunity. So,

really excited to jump into this. And I'm guessing you saw a lot of red flags there too.

Oh, yeah. I mean, there were like red flags popping up everywhere. Red, yellow flags, all kinds of

stuff. And which we'll dig into. But yeah, it's really, it's not even hard to see it. It shouldn't be hard to see it.

You know, if you're very familiar at all, you know, with the Word, with the New Testament theology,

we should be seeing these things fairly easy, actually.

Yeah, and this is kind of the scary thing, is that she had people on air, and again, Daystar, millions of people watching on air repeat after her this prayer. And I really wonder if she weren't right now in the middle of a scandal. One, I don't think she would have been pulling out this prayer, basically cursing her enemies.

But I also wonder if she had done something like this and she weren't in the middle of this scandal, if it even would have been noticed, if people would have just gone along with it and just not even noticed it.
