Update Amy Valardi and her husband Ross Valardi have been arrested and

charged with murdering the Scott family in Pendleton, South Carolina.

Kathy Scott, Mike Scott, and their mothers Barbara Scott and Violet Taylor

were violently killed in their home on Halloween night 2015.

The case was covered in episode 75, the Scott Family Massacre.

I was told there were four bodies inside the double-wide mobile home.

Once we found out the extent of their injuries and the fact that their throats were cut,

and then they were shot post-mortem.

It seemed very, very aggressive and personal and somebody full of rage and hate.

I've never seen anything like it before or since.

Amy Valardi, Kathy and Mike's daughter,

lived with her husband Ross in another trailer on the property.

So in the single wide lived Amy Valardi, who was Kathy's daughter, her husband Ross Valardi, and then their children.

Amy Valardi is the one who called in the actual crime to the sheriff's office. She called 911 and basically said she went to her

mothers and found her family deceased inside. Amy often spoke to the media and presented herself as a grieving daughter.

Even though this was a step family situation, we were family too thick and thin and this is a lot of people that have been affected by this.

I keep feeling like I should be waking up from a dream right now and it's just not happening.

So yeah, it's like a movie or something. It's not supposed to be real life.

Kathy's daughter Amy and her husband Ross were initially very cooperative with the case. Once the focus of

the investigation turned toward them being potential suspects, they stopped

cooperating altogether.
