erred frustrations with China today as the trade war continues. On truth social today, he said

China is sending Boeing jets back to the U.S. after the country stopped taking deliveries of the

aircraft due to tariffs. He also reiterated one reason why he said he initially issued tariffs against China,

accusing the country of having a role in fentanyl coming into the U.S.

On Wednesday, Trump said his administration is engaged in, quote,

active and direct talks with Beijing on trade every day.

But two senior Chinese officials in Washington for meetings yesterday and today

are not planning to meet with any Trump aides while here. Now to the Trump administration's

emergency appeal to the Supreme Court over another dispute about a key aspect of the president's agenda.

Here's CNN's Joan Biscupik. The Trump administration is asking the justices to block lower court rulings that have barred

active duty transgender members of the military services from serving or from letting any new recruits come in who are transgender.

While lower court judges have blocked this policy from taking effect,

block this prohibition on transgender people serving in the military, the Trump

administration wants the policy to be enforced while the merits of the litigation

play out. Officials say a 19-year-old faces arson charges for the New Jersey wildfire that started Tuesday morning.

It's burned more than 15,000 acres and prompted 5,000 evacuations.
