Thank you. True Crime Podcast. When it comes to the delivery of justice, when it comes to the delivery of justice, juries play an incredibly important role in America's judicial system. In today's day and age, it seems like everyone has an opinion, especially when it comes to some of the more high-profile trials that

captivate the attention of people across the nation.

But as citizens, it's a jury's job to remain impartial, to listen to the arguments of both

the defense and the prosecution, to consider all the evidence presented, and to follow the

instructions of the judge in order

to uphold our fellow Americans' right to a fair trial. In legal terms, the jury selection process

is known as voir dire, meaning to speak the truth. Here, prospective jurors are questioned to determine

whether or not they will be a suitable fit to participate in the trial at hand.
