Now, Dee's a professor of theatre studies at Glasgow University, and she's got a particular

fascination with walking art. She established the walking library, and she's currently heading

up a new research project called Walking Public's Walking Arts, which was prompted by the COVID pandemic.

It's looking at how walking can be encouraged both during and recovering from a pandemic.

Dee lives in the west end of Glasgow, so we met her at the Botanic Gardens before setting

off on a walk along the River Kelvin, a walk that she discovered for the very first time during

lockdown.

So we're in the botanic gardens and we're passing great glass houses

filled with all sorts of tropical species.

And today it's gorgeous, there's blue skies, you don't really need much incentive to enjoy being here today.
