Alex, do you remember watching the Olympics as a kid?

I do actually remember because I always watched on my cousins TV.

We were always up in Lake Tahoe, and I knew my cousins had a cabin with the TV,

and it's like basically the summer activity we always watched in my cousin's living room.

And so, yeah, I feel like it was a whole family thing.

We always watched the Olympics.

Yeah, we basically never watched TV unintentionally. Like we would watch specific things every now and again, like specific shows or whatever. But definitely watching the Olympics stands out as something that, you know, we'd see every few years.

Yeah. Why do you think that the Olympics still keeps your attention? I mean, I personally just love seeing human

excellence, and the Olympics really showcases human excellence in a very niche range of activities.

You know, it's like the world's best person at doing some weird thing, like jumping over

obstacles that are set a certain distance apart. You're like, that's weird, but that person is really, really good at doing that weird thing. Or curling.

Yeah, well, whatever, curling is that. Yeah, I mean, some of the things in the Olympics, I think,

are stupid. But in general, it's just cool to see anybody who's devoted their life to doing something

incredibly well. Yeah. You know, the other thing with the Olympics is just that I love athletics.

You know, it's like, I mean, I'm a professional athlete, I love physical movement.

And so I think seeing Olympic gymnasts, Olympic runners, Olympic swimmers,

people who are incredible using their body in the way that they want it to perform.

I don't know, it's just, it's cool to see.
