We're tracking the latest on the price of eggs. Everyone knows they're going up. Brace yourself, they're going to be going up longer and higher. A lot of restaurants are now having some surcharges. There's one restaurant that says it will not.

But we're going to begin with the latest close call between two airplanes, the Southwest flight, about to land in Chicago,

when a small jet can see it right there across the runway. Our transportation correspondent,

Gil Benitez is here with the latest on this incident. Good morning, Gio.

Hey, Michael, good morning. Yeah, this close call is very concerning because it appears that the

private jets pilot disregarded the command from air traffic control even after acknowledging it.

It was only after the Southwest pilots saw the jet with their own eyes that they averted disaster.

This morning, yet another near catastrophe at an American airport.

This time, a private business jet crossing directly in front of a Southwest 737 seconds from

touchdown. Watch again, the Southwest jet making its final approach when the pilots notice

that private jet entering the runway. The crew abhorting the landing feet from the runway.

Southwise 2504 going around. The Southwest plane pulling up, clearing that private jet by just 250 feet.

The pilots asking what went wrong?
