Today we are going to talk about quintile number five, which I'm super excited about,

although I feel like every year it's always surprising when the end rolls around.

A year fits a lot, and yet when you look back on it, and as you go through it, it can feel like it went by really fast.

And 2024 is definitely no exception to this phenomenon for me. But yes, here we are.

And just to review, I do divide my year into quintiles and quintile five is what I consider

November and December. And I delineated this from the rest of the fall season at the end of the year because it just feels different.

So just to backtrack a bit, quintile four is kind of like the back to school season.

And I see that as a revving up.

It's all these routines kind of getting honed and getting figured out.

Kids are getting the groove with their homework. You're

probably adding activities and different sessions and all kinds of things. And then all of a sudden,

there's like this moment when you just start seeing your vacations on the horizon and the holidays

just feel like they're coming up quickly and they start occupying a good portion of your mind.

And I feel like that happens right around Halloween for me.

And so I delineated the last two months of the year as reflection and celebration season

because I really felt like they just held a little bit of a different spirit.

And I wanted to capture that with their own season.
