Stewardship, then, is not just a focus on money or material things, but also encompasses every spiritual blessing. In this study, making the most of all God

has given, Scott Pauley teaches biblical principles for Christian stewardship. One day, we will meet God

and give an account of how we have handled all of the resources he has put in our hands. Let's listen intently to learn how God expects us to steward his resources.

All of us love to hear the words, well done.

I remember my dad saying to me years ago, he said, son, a vataboy goes a long

way. Well, what he meant by that was that everybody loves to have the sense of accomplishment,

that they have succeeded in something, that they have been effective in something. And I think two of

the most precious words Jesus ever spoke

were these two words, well done.

Isn't that the goal?

Isn't that what all of us want to hear when we meet God someday,

that we did well?

What does that mean to do well?

Does that mean you did well in the world's eyes? Does that

mean you did what you wanted to do? No, well done. It comes from our God when we do what God wants

us to do. When Paul said at the end of his life that he had fought a good fight. He did not mean that he had done a good job.

He meant that the fight was a good fight, that the work he had been engaged in was a worthy

work that he had discovered and done what God had given him to do. And that is the real essence of life.

That is the real essence of labor. It is to find out why you're breathing,

to figure out how God made you, why God gave you life, why you're on this planet, and then
