Welcome to the Peter King Podcast. We are at the Porter Pole and I know that's the

wrong use of the word and all you horse people out there you're going to say wait a second the

quarter pole doesn't mean one quarter of the way into the race I think it means one

quarter of the way to the end of the race but whatever it means we're at the quarter

poll of the NFL season miles Simmons how are you feeling I'm feeling pretty good

Peter it's funny because that's what coaches always say, right? Oh, we get four games in, we're at the quarter pole. So we're using it in the proper sense of the NFL term even though now that there are 17 games it's technically not a

quarter of the season anymore but you know nobody's used to that yet still.

You really have to get to week five honestly before you're actually one quarter of the way

through the season because now this week is the first week with buys you got

four teams with buys including the suddenly all powerful Seattle Seahawks

But I'm not sure when you play that when you beat the Toledo mud hens on Monday night Football that you should be considered all powerful.

But anyway, be that as it may.

Let's talk about this week's pod.

I'm going to have some observations about my weekend in Boulder, Colorado, seeing Dion Sanders in the Colorado buffaloes,

and seeing a bunch of famous athletes, and also Miles, I must confess I saw a bunch of rappers but I have no idea who they are

so I can't bring you any I didn't meet one of them though I met a baby okay and I you know I

I wanted to say man love your music but I you know sorry I don't want to lie

But anyway there was a it was quite a scene on the

sidelines in Boulder and I've got some observations about the state of college

football the state of Dion Sanders and the state of the next two number one picks in the draft,

Caleb Williams and Shadour Sanders, you know, maybe.
