I'd like to share something that I've seen.

It's kind of come across my path a few times.

And just at my core, I just believe it to be true,

which is essentially maybe the bigger the struggle, the greater the blessing. It's almost like

the hardest training round. I look at a Navy SEAL, for example, what they have to do allows

them to be top performers, to survive, to be resilient, to be

strong. And I've often shared that I had the gift of an early challenge in my life,

growing up how I did with an alcoholic and drug addict father, a mother who had her own

anxieties and depression, moving so many times, living in domestic violence

shelters, going to over 20 schools. The way that I see it is as a true blessing, because I got a lot of

lessons early. I got a lot of strength and resilience young. And I will admit, look, I know everyone's different.

There's no hierarchy of suffering as Laurie Gottlieb shares. Now, definitely check out her interview

on the podcast. She wrote the book. Maybe you should talk to someone as well as a slew of

others. She's amazing. But someone's suffering isn't better or worse or harder or easier

than anyone else is. It's just your suffering. But what I can say is this. The things that I notice

ruffle people or get them all bent out of shape, don't bother me. And I have to say that a lot of this,

I think, came from an early training. I'm not saying I'd choose it.

I'm not saying I'd wish it on anybody, but it's what my life is and I fully accept it.

And what I can tell you as well, and having been a life coach now for over 10 years,

is that very few people, very few people skip through childhood. You know, just dancing around and it's all perfect.

Amazing mom, amazing dad, conscious, aware, spiritually evolved. Very few people. In fact, if I even look at
