Boy, do we have a lot to be grateful for this year?

I think so.

I mean, we're in the news business so the list of complaints and negative things

that we could say about the world are basically, you know, we're doing that.

That's just a given.

But let's put all that aside since as you and I and probably the people listening here,

we're for a brief time going to block out the world and just get with our loved ones

to remember some like essential human, our own humanity inside the maelstrom.
