courageous discourse substack. It's a great pleasure to welcome to the show, Mr. Jim Haslam. Jim has a lot to

tell us. But first, let's learn about him. Jim, tell us a little bit about, you know, about your

background and how you came to come on the show. So thanks for having me, Peter.

What I am is a mechanical engineer who's been working on commercial international projects

for most of my career. So a lot of that came to a halt during COVID. And I think a lot of us

basically had time to reflect on what this thing is and where it came from.

So that was about five years ago now, as we're at the end of 2024.

And my interest slowly increased over time during the outbreak.

And it was more interested on what leaked out of that lab in Wuhan instead of the actual lab leak itself.

So for the past, you know, four plus years, I've looked at it off and on over time.

And, you know, contrary to popular belief, you know, what it is, you know, is there's a lot of evidence for what it is.

A lot of people have this idea in their mind that

like I did early in the outbreak, it's Wuhan, it's China, it's communist country, we'll never know

much. Most of the evidence will be buried. And it turns out that there was a ton of evidence,

but it was buried in our own backyard. So for the past, you know, year or so, what I've been looking at, you know, is that evidence. And I've assembled it, you know, and what I think is a pretty, you know, easy to tell story,

which is what most people need to understand, you know, this thing was an accident in my mind.

It wasn't anything intentional.
