I do like to have a title. It feels like it's an extra gift. Like it's a gift.

Yes, that's just like a gift. When you give someone a gift, there's no guarantee they're

going to like it. So this is the same thing.

And today we're going to follow on from last week's discussion about pricing.

It feels like a really nice natural flow with a talk about titles, how we name and title our artwork, which was actually prompted by a comment or a question on something that Louise suggested.

So we'll get stuck into that in a minute. We've already had a little bit of a

gig of how we do ourselves before we started recording, which may or may not be in sneaky outtakes at the end. But first of all, what have you been doing this week?

I've been painting.

First time in a while that I've had a few studio days and it's been interesting roller coaster ride up and down of getting it right and then not getting it right and I've

talked about this before but when if your work is supposed to be about embedding emotion into the painting, it's extremely

difficult when you are a thinky mind person like I am. So I go one successful day,

yep, that those might be a bit ugly or whatever, but they feel like I felt that's good.

Then the next day thinking mind starts getting involved and everything goes downhill

and then I have to rain it back in and remember no it's just

about choosing what you feel like that day it's as simple as that for me. It's not about thinking, well, blue might be a good colour to represent how I'm feeling. I'll choose blue. It's not that thinking. And it's interesting how art mirrors life,

but this is what I'm like in life.
