Everybody we're back with another whiskey quickie, and today we're looking at Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, or otherwise known as OKI's Reserve, blended bourbon whiskey.

Now, when I saw this, I kind of took a step back and I was like,

blended bourbon whiskey. And I look at this chart on the back label here and I'll tell you

about what's in it here in a second. But we were starting asking ourselves, we're like,

there's light whiskey in here. There's 95% rye whiskey in here. I was like, why can it say

rye corn whiskey? Yeah, I was like, rye corn was like, why can it say... Rye corn whiskey? Yeah, I was like, rye corn, it was like, why is it a blended bourbon whiskey? And then I realized, oh, because

you're just saying, you're putting bourbon whiskey in it, you're putting blended, but it's not a

straight, right? So if you know your labels, then you know that it's way around a lot of things inside TTB land every once in a while.

But here is a little bit information about what goes into this.

So all of the contents in here is to say 99% of the contents are over eight years old

and contains five different rye whiskey mash bills, or sorry, just different match bills that all come from MGP.

So they're not hiding anything when it comes to where this is coming from.

So it's got two different 21% rise coming from 2007 and 2008 and 2009 that make up around 30%, 32% of this particular blend.

A 2009, sorry, 2009 and 2014, 36% rye bourbon that make up around a 27% of the blend,

which the 2014 says it only has 0.2%.

That's a very, very small margin to be able to put in there, but hey, whatever.

The 95% rye whiskey, which is your typical 955 from 2008 is 12.2%, 15% rye corn whiskey
