as you can imagine you know looking at it from her vantage point from a distance entering a world of these

kinds of restrictions and oversight is not appealing.

We're coming at you with a newsy episode this week. It's been a lot of activity in the

Brittany Spears conservatorship case. If you dig deep into Popcast Archives, if you go back to the Ratliff era, another golden era, two golden

errors back to back, I like to think of them.

If you go back to the Ratliffa, 2016, there is an episode about Brittany pegged to an investigative piece that the times did, about the Brittany conservatorship and her legal status. That was four years ago. This is now a lot has changed. So we are going to go long on Brittany today. First, your friend in mind Joe Coscarelli is going to come through.

Joe is going to talk about the recent developments in the case and also talk about the time that he

went to Vegas to take a Polaroid with Britney Spears as part of reporting trip.

Secondarily, our old friend, Vanessa Gregoriatis, is calling in.

Vanessa did a very important piece in 2008 where she spent many, many, many weeks, possibly many months

embedded with and around the many, many grifters in the Britney Spears extended universe.

It was for Rolling Stone.

It was really the first article that got under the hood of what was going on in the Brittany world.

And this was during a time when Brittany was all over the tabloids, mostly doing things that were worrisome and troubling.

And Vanessa did a lot of reporting to figure out exactly what was going on

with the people who were in her circle or were trying very, very hard to be in her circle.
