Hey Unladies, Kristen here. Back in November, I announced the end of Unladylike the podcast, but

that doesn't mean I've stopped investigating all the ways gender, power, and culture collide.

In case you missed it, I have a whole other podcast called Conspiracy She Wrote, where I have been

pulling on red strings and unraveling misinformation and outright conspiracy theories woven

by and about women, which brings me to this episode I'm sharing with y'all today.

It is part one of Cons she wrote's five-part

miniseries. Could have been more parts. Had to stop myself at five. But it's a mini-series that I

called Ladies Stay Safe. And this particular episode kicks things off by breaking down viral

myths y'all have probably run across about

the stranger danger of sex trafficking, what true crime culture has to do with it, and what gets

lost when misinformation masquerades as safety advice. I hope y'all enjoy this.
