and we're going to talk about worship. We're a brand new church and I want to explain to you how

we see worship and who we worship and why we worship and when we worship and how we worship. And

I'll start with a story. I was the first man in my family to ever go to college. And so I ended

up going to a state university and I was exposed to, if you've been to college, you've had this

experience, all these different ideas that I had never really considered before. Different philosophies,

different religions, different opinions about the big issues of life where we come from, why we're

here, where we're going. And all of a sudden I was not a Christian but I was considering all of

these ideas in sociology and history and philosophy. And I'll never forget, I walked up to one of my

sociology professors and I said, okay, you've just kind of presented different views of reality from

different groups of people. I said, what is your view? I said, do you think that there's a God,

not a God, a heaven of hell like where are you at? And he said, all I believe in is the material.

You tap the desk, the physical. He said, I believe that's all we have and all we are. He said, I

don't believe we have this invisible material soul. I don't believe there's some spiritual God. I

don't believe anything happens after you die. You just cease to exist. I said, well, how do you

explain everything? He said, everything is the result of material collision and interaction. So,

I remember he had a wife and I said, do you love your wife? He said, yes, I do. And I said,

why? He said, I guess her chemistry and my chemistry together gives me something that feels like
