It's been a busy morning, shall we say, lots of news around. And I guess today,

the Foreign Secretary James Cleverley, we also spoke to the General Secretary of Unite, Sharon Graham.

Now, as usual on the pod, we are joined by the show editor Scott Beasley. Hi, Scott. Hi, Sophie.

And today I'm pleased to say that we have the Daily Mirror's political editor, friend of the interview writing to this morning, which is quite unusual for me. But you just felt, didn't you, that there was, the stories were moving

so quickly, the stories about Nadeem Zaharway and also about this loan to Boris Johnson.

These were the things that we needed to really get into. And so it was a bit of a kind of like

rip up the running order and really focus

on the big stories, I guess, that people are talking about. What did you make of James Cleverly,

John? He drew the short straw this morning. He drew the short straw and I think that, I mean,

no one's going to once be the Tory minister going out and doing the morning round on a morning like this.

When you've got difficult stories like that to deal with.

But I just don't think it's sustainable, the answers that you were getting to those questions.

I can't really see how Nadine Zahari manages to cling on in that job.

I think it would be hard for anyone who's a minister in the cabinet to have those allegations that he faced a tax investigation then was forced to hand over

a seven-figure sum. I think it would be difficult for anyone to cling on to that job.
