So there I was in Chicago, and it was Blizzard.

Now, put yourself in this unusual position.

I am pastoring a church when this is happening, and I have advertised a big conference,

and the guest who is going to pack this little church

out in Rhode Island is going to be, the guest is going to be Kim Clement, a well-known

prophetic voice. Hard to get him for any event, but he was a friend of mine and he would do

me favors and we'd book him for

Rhode Island. Okay. Now, the problem is, we are both flying in from different cities. He's in Dallas,

Texas, and I am at this point coming in from Chicago with my wife, and I believe I had a child,

like at that point in a stroller, one of my children, probably Lance Jr.

So we're in Chicago, and I'm looking at my watch and freaking out because flights are getting canceled and I've got to fly home for my own conference.

And my guest may not be there because of the blizzard that's hitting the United States.

But I at least have to get back.

Now, I had just been studying in the Bible about how David had saved his own

life by suddenly adjusting his behavior, by taking control of his behavior, and in a moment of

extreme danger, he just flipped.

I'll show you in a minute when he does it, and starts acting different.

And that acting different saved his life.

And then I was reading about the Apostle Paul, who when he was in a moment of extreme personal danger,

where he was in the middle of a mob that was pulling one way or the other,

he read the situation, saw it, adapted himself,

and did something that, boom, divided the room into and spared him.
