Good morning, good Saturday morning to you for the special episode of APJ in this last weekend of 2024, hard to believe.

Thank you for inviting Pastor John and myself into your life for another year, a monumental year for us.

We reached 300 million episode plays all time in mid-October.

You might remember us celebrating that benchmark. It's a mind-bending number.

300 million episode plays. Crazy. And as we close out the year and look forward to 2025,

we have a word from Pastor John today in this special APJ episode.

But before we hear from him, a big thank you to you from me for the 100 or so emails that you sent me recently about your experiences this year, this year, using the Navigator's Bible reading plan.

Of course, we introduced the plan into our APJ programming about a year

ago in 2024 when we started as a way to encourage you in daily reading the Bible for yourself

through a structure that balances readings from the Old Testament, the New Testament,

wisdom literature, four readings per day to read the whole Bible in one year. It was also a schedule that I used as a wireframe to sort of organize your many

great Bible questions to Pastor John.

I just slotted your questions into the programming schedule as they came up in our

readings, which I thought worked beautifully.

Your feedback was confirming to me, so thank you. It was also encouraging to me.

73% of you expressed gratitude and requested that we reuse the same plan in 2025. So that's

exactly what we're going to do. We're going to use the Navigator's Bible reading plan again in

2025 for the same purposes that I just explained.

Many of you wrote in to say that you appreciated the structure's balance in the inclusion

of grace days, which alleviated the pressure along the way.

Paul wrote to say this plan has been the push I needed to get back into a daily routine

with scripture.
