You realize that zinc levels in your body can predict COVID-19 severity,

0:27.7

very, very interesting study that was published by the Journal of Nutrients.

0:33.2

And they showed that people with low zinc, less than 50 micrograms per deciliter,

0:38.0

had an increase in mortality rate by 21%, compared to 5% with healthy zinc levels.

0:47.1

That is very, very significant, but there's more. The group that showed lower zinc levels

0:53.2

had a three times slower recovery rate. 25 days compared to eight days. That's incredible.

1:01.5

Also, there was increases in the severity of the symptoms. There was increases in inflammation

1:06.8

and a decrease in mortality, like I just mentioned right here. So the question is, how could

1:11.1

zinc do that? Well, zinc has a direct anti-viral effect. It also acts as a co-factor for many things,

1:20.0

but most importantly, your immune system. It helps to increase T-cell growth. It helps to activate

1:27.8

B-cells. So the B-cell in the T-cell is part of the acquired immune system that you develop over time.

1:35.5

And so zinc strengthens the acquired immune system, actually as well as the innate immune system

1:40.6

as well. Zinc will decrease your susceptibility to getting an impact of viral infection in the

1:46.8

first place. And so this is really a no-brainer. I think everyone should be taking zinc on a regular

1:51.2

basis. Just make sure you take it in the blend of trace minerals because you have to balance it with

1:55.9

copper if you take it over a long period of time. But for a tiny cost of the zinc supplement,

2:00.9

you can create a massive benefit for your immune system. If you want more information on zinc,

2:06.0

I have a lot of videos. I put some links down below. Hey, before you go real quick,

2:11.4

I have a course entitled How to Bulletproof your immune system. It's a free course. I want you

2:18.6

to take it. And here's why. Here's you. Here is your environment. Everyone is focused on this
