your host on Sawcasth's stories about the secret war during the eight-year war

in Vietnam. I'm going to turn to a book. By the way, if you haven't seen Sawcasth

number 33, I recommend going back to read that first or listen to that one first

because this is part two of that Sawcasth. When we have today joining us

Dale Hansen. Again, Dale, welcome back. And as always, I want to turn to your

excellent book, Born Twice. And it's another aspect of Saw that until I

interviewed you for Sawcasth number 33, I didn't know anything about it. And

then even there, this was an operation called Ford Drum. Ford like the car drum

like something you beat on. And this was a top secret mission where pilots went

out with some people from staff, from Intel staff, back at a contum, a command

of control central. And I want to talk about running into your missions where

people are now familiar with how many other times you've confronted death on

the ground, on a combat mission with Sawg. And this one here, you were flying low

and they had two aircraft for these Ford drums. There'd be a low, one aircraft low

with a camera, which you had. And there'd be another aircraft above helping you

spot potential targets or areas that you would. And then when you got together,

that Intel would be turned over right away. And it's something I never heard
