I have one spooky story for you today and our story today comes from Abbey and it came in on the 17th of October 2024.

I am 25 now and for as long as I remember there has always been spooky goings on in my life.

I lived in the same house from birth until I was 18 or 19.

Whilst growing up in that house it was very evident that there were spirits who resided there with us.

Upstairs there was a Victorian-style lady who would stand in the bathroom.

I vividly remember seeing her side profile.

She would wear one of those dresses that, for lack of a better term, would give a poofy bum appearance. She would always be standing

facing the mirror, touching her face. And whenever she was in there, I made sure not to linger

outside of the door. She would begin to turn if you looked for too long. And I just knew that if

she were to turn around fully, something bad would happen.

I would constantly tell my parents about the spooky big bum lady,

and they would brush it off to be nothing.

However, one day I had a friend come over, which I'd never mentioned any of this too,

and she said she saw the exact same lady, could describe the dress,

the feeling of knowing something bad would happen if she were to look at you. Downstairs there was a mischievous being that would misplace things

constantly. We never fully got to see him, but you knew when he was around. I don't know how to

describe it really, almost like when you're playing hide

and seek and you know that person is hidden in the room. He never caused any harm, a few arguments

maybe, but no lasting damage. We realised if you just asked for the item to be returned and

gave him a time frame when you'd be back for it.

Your item would be laying on the coffee table when you'd go back in.

Like, I'm going to go out in five minutes.
