We figured out that something was up when we saw he was using Venmo to pay a college student who's a friend's older brother and who, it turns out, is a bookie. We asked her son about what was going on and he got really defensive and insisted that all the guys he hangs out with bet on sports and that it's not really a big deal and that he has it under control.
