The greatest relationship in the world is to know that you are a child of God. Let me speak just as a son for a moment.

I'm so grateful for my dad, for my mom, for the family that God allowed me to be born into,

for the heritage that we have. But as grateful as I am for all of that, the greatest family in the world is the family of God,

and the only perfect father is the heavenly father.

And I say again, the greatest relationship is to know that you are a child of God.

Now, why am I bringing you to this truth today?

Because really, this is the overarching message of the book of 1 John.

In our introductory study, we talked about the fact that the word no found 38 times in these five chapters.

The overwhelming tone and emphasis that John writes with under inspiration of the Holy Spirit
