Well, you know, friend, because of what we talk about on this podcast, the subject of pornography

comes up quite a bit. We've talked about

how do you overcome pornography? Why are people drawn to it? And what addiction actually does

to the brain? We've talked about it in the context of relationships and marriage. The fact that

we talk about pornography so often can sometimes make us think that maybe we know too much about it.

But the fact is not everyone knows how prevalent pornography is or really how damaging it can be.

My guest is Nick Stumbo, who has been on job with Julie

before. He's the executive director of Pure Desire Ministries. They provide resources and

counseling for those who struggle with unwanted behaviors. Pure Desire recently partnered

with the Barnett Group to do some in-depth research on pornography,

betrayal, trauma, and healing. And let me just say what they found out is pretty staggering.

This is a conversation that gets into just how serious things are related to pornography,

but also is going to provide a roadmap for churches and for people to overcome this addiction.
