morning coffee, sat down at my computer. It's a Sunday morning. It's about 9.30 as I speak to you.

So this was 8.30, 9 o'clock.

And I turned on the computer to see what is going on.

And there was a text from a man named Tom who lives here in Crestone, really nice guy.

Anyway, Tom is the husband of Aline, who was last week's guest on the podcast.

And the message from Tom said that Eileen had died yesterday.

And he thanked me for recording the podcast with her

and preserving something of her voice and her spirit.

And fuck.

So in 650-some episodes of this podcast, I believe this is the second time that someone I've had on the podcast died shortly after.

I think actually the other time I'm thinking of is a gentleman in Bangkok.
