Jimmy Carter, Fox is Steve Harrigan outside the Carter Center in Atlanta. This is going to be six days of events. It all gets started Saturday. That's when a motorcade

will come from Plains, Georgia. Its first stop, a pause will be outside the boyhood home of Jimmy

Carter or farm that his father owned. From there, he'll move on to the state capital in Georgia

and then here to the Carter Center in Atlanta. The body will

lie in repose here for three days, giving people a chance to pay their respects to the 37th president,

something we've already seen happening all around Georgia. From here, Carter's remains will be

flown to Washington. There they will lie in state in the rotunda. That's an honor. Carter will share with 12

former presidents going all the way back to Abraham Lincoln. That's state funeral January 9th.

That will be a national day of morning. All federal agencies closed.
