Today I want to talk specifically to those of you who are in the

middle of a big change. Maybe you're starting over. Maybe you're chasing a dream. Maybe you're

breaking an old habit. You're healing. You're growing. You're doing the therapy. And you're trying

so hard to do better. And it feels

really hard. It feels hard because it's exhausting to try and change while also doing our regular

lives. Maybe you're wondering if it's even worth all of the effort you're putting in. If that's you,

I need you to hear me right now. Just because it's hard doesn't mean you're doing it wrong.

Just because you feel uncomfortable doesn't mean you should stop. Just because the road is tough doesn't mean you're not

making progress. This is what change feels like. Change is messy. Change is uncertain. Change is a little

lonely sometimes because when we grow and change and evolve, we often evolve right out of the community that we were inside of.

But that doesn't mean you should quit.

It's going to feel hard because your brain loves what's familiar.

You are wired to want to repeat the same patterns over and over and over

even if those patterns aren't good for you. It's why it's easier to stay inside of a toxic

relationship than walk away. It's why it's easier to go back to bad habits than to keep pushing

forward. It's why it's easier to stay in your comfort

zone rather than chase something new. It's because the old you is still trying to pull you back.
