Authorities say 20-year-old Phoenix Eichner, who's believed to be attending Florida State,

opened fire near the student union around lunchtime.

Two non-students were killed and at least six others were hurt.

Leon County Sheriff Walter McNeil says the suspect was a longstanding member of their youth advisory council and has been steeped in the sheriff's office family for some time engaging in a number of their
