It is an inflammatory and autoimmune process that does damage this very important

Let's discuss what causes colitis, how to know if you

have colitis, and then if you do have colitis, what you can do to support that inflammation,

that autoimmunity, and reduce your symptoms. Colitis, aka ulcerative colitisitis is the most common type of what's known as inflammatory bowel disease.

This is where there's inflammation, autoimmunity, and this can eventually form damage or even ulcers

to that mucus membrane of your intestinal tract.

And how this tends to form is, firstly in the rectum,

and this would be known technically as proctitis,
