Thank you so much for coming back on the show and for coming into my bedroom recording

studio. I love the interior bedroom. I love that we're in New York together and I love the

0:32.7

first time that we spoke was over Zoom. I know. Yes, beginning a pandemic. Yeah, beginning

0:37.8

a pandemic. I also, you're the first in-person recording I'm doing in a while. So you

0:44.4

my first virtual, I really think you were and now you're my first in-person. I love it

0:47.7

so many firsts. I mean, we're literally sitting at this table just staring at each other.

0:51.7

It feels like I feel like an intimate date. It does. But honestly, this is something I miss

0:57.1

so much and something I've really been struggling with as a podcast host is like, I'll finish

1:02.4

the episode and in my mind, I'm like, that could have been so much better on my end, never

1:07.0

in the guest end. I always think like that could have gone deeper, that could have been

1:12.0

more personable, but it's really fucking hard virtually. It is hard. It was hard. Like,

it's so hard. Do you feel that way as a fitness instructor now that so much is virtual?

1:20.8

I think for me, when I'm teaching, I really have to visualize my clients and members and

1:26.2

community there with me so that I'm bringing the same type of energy that I would teach

1:30.8

in real life. So I think it's just more of a energetically. It's just a harder job

1:36.5

when you're doing it live on the app versus in a classroom where everyone's there and

1:41.0

giving you the energy. Also, like when you're, well, I think it's

1:44.9

too full because when you're in person as a fitness instructor, I imagine I feel this

1:49.0

way when I speak virtually, this is the only thing I can compare it to. But when I speak

1:53.3

with sororities virtually over COVID, it's been so incredible the experience to be able

1:57.5

to do that. So it's awesome that you're able to virtually teach. But when they all have

2:02.2

their cameras on, which is what I would imagine is like you for a live class kind of, I
